Talia has her 10-year-old self and Cricketer Brett Lee, in a 2002 Weet-Bix commercial, to thank for igniting her interest in the industry. She may have been an extra in a sea of green and gold, but it was a screen debut nonetheless and marked the beginnings of a career in acting.

Since that time, Talia has under her belt a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Screen from Brisbane’s Griffith University and a Diploma of Screen Acting from Sydney's leading Film and Television School, Screenwise.

In 2008, Talia was recognised nationally for her award-winning comedy performance with Storm the Stage, supported by celebrated patrons Hugh Jackman and Jill Perryman, at Perth’s renowned Burswood Theatre.

Talia’s acting extends beyond the stage, also including film and television. She recently featured in national TV campaigns for VitaQIK, and industry giants KFC and Woolworths.

Her passion for performance found its way into the classroom when she became an Acting Teacher for the Australian School of Performing Arts, Film and Television (ASPA-FTV), now known as Perform Australia. It was during this time Talia wrote and directed 18 original stage productions, a number of which debuted at the renowned Queensland Performing Arts Centre, Brisbane.

Her writing credits also extend to the Dear John Film and Theatre Company’s independent feature-length film PERFECT, IMPERFECT (2017) and the short film SCREAMING SILENCE (2014).

One of Talia’s more recent roles is as series regular, Jane Doe, in the award-winning dark comedy, KILLA KAFE (2019). The six-part web series began its festival circuit at Italy's Oniros Film Awards™, winning 'Best Web-Series' and 'Best Choreography'.

Talia was also grateful to have recently received Best Actor Awards New York's Platinum award for 'Best Actress in a Comedy', for her performance in the short film STUNTBOT (2020).

In 2020, Talia launched her new business venture, Script & Scribe Creations; an online catalogue of original acting scripts written for Australia's youngest performers and their facilitators. Talia's mission has and always will be to provide high-quality material for our performers of the future.
